Featuring both regular and tall sizes, the Carson provides all the advantages of an external frame pack--such as easy torso adjustment and great weight transfer--but it looks more like an internal frame pack and provides both top- and panel-loading for easy access. You'll be able to carry heavy loads comfortably thanks to the curved, extra-padded foam shoulder straps, foam cushion back with mesh, and padded waist belt with diagonal stabilizer. You'll stay hydrated with the two mesh side water bottle pockets, and the external hydration sleeve with H2O tube port (bladder not included). Other features include six compartments in addition to the large main compartment, compression straps pull the pack load closer to the back, extendable lid pocket for overpacking, and durable 420 denier packcloth exterior.
