This fun and colorful dome-style tent is great for juniors, backyard camping, and car camping. When all pieces are stowed away in the included stuff sack, this package weighs 3.8 pounds. It's quite easy to set up, and we put it together in just a few minutes. The tent measures 5 by 6 feet--so it's quite small but will work nicely for solo campers, smaller people, or will be a great place to stash camping gear. It features a 36-inch maximum center height and includes one small storage pocket for a flashlight or water bottle. For ventilation, this tent features only the front D-style door with a screen window that only fills half the doorway and a small, ventilated dome top (which measures about 2 square feet). For that reason, we'd be suspect in using this tent in very warm temperatures, as you won't get much of a breeze (if any) while inside. Also, this tent isn't suited to an all-out assault by rain, with just a small rain cover (instead of a full fly) that protects the dome's ventilated square, which is quickly attached using integrated plastic hooks. That said, the water-resistant polyester exterior will shed drizzle and light rain (tested under our extended sprinkler test in our backyard) and keep you covered inside. A bit of a throwback to simple tent designs of the 70s (with a combination of blue, white, yellow, and maroon colorings to add to this flavor), this tent is a good buy for use in the spring and summer months and will be great as a hideout for the beach or backyard barbecues. in a flash. Very happy to have found this tent. Amazon says it fits 2-people, but that's a stretch. I am giving it to my kid as a gift.
Probably took me less than 100 seocnds to set it up. Easy, small tent that I am going to use for my kid for Christmas. It's small enough to hide under my table at work until Santa comes. Thanks Amazon!

We bought this to set up in the house so our son could camp indoors. It is very spacious, and he takes naps in it during the day and sometimes sleeps in it at night. For the price, this is hard to beat.

For the price this is a great tent, its not for grown ups but my 9 year old had a couple of friends in it, they use it for snacking and play and hide from the girls in it, sleeps 2 children easily, he sets it up by himself, stores easily

For the price I paid this is a wonderful tent, BUT.... it's truly not suited for much more than backyard camping, solo camping in excellent weather or as an extra tent to hold camping gear.
On the plus side, it IS very light weight, at under 4 lbs you will hardly know you are carrying it. The description was very accurate in the tents limitations so if you are buying this please be sure to read and read again all the manufacturer/amazon has to say about this tent. It also comes in a nice sack for easy transporation.

I bought this tent as an extra for kid camping at our little cabin. In the summer the kids sleep in tents and our big tent ripped last year. We also hope to bring it on a backpack trip with the kids this summer. One concern - if a buyer is looking for a tent with a screen that wont let the tiny "no-see-ums" in, the screen on this tent is not tight enough but will be airy on hot summer days.
