| Customer Reviews: Nice Bag July 19, 2009 J. Winn Purchased this bag for my 10 year old daughter for her first time at camp. It is a very nice bag and I am sure it will keep her very warm. I like that it has a heavier fabric outer covering instead of the cheap nylon covering which tends to slide around. Coleman makes a very good product and price was very good compared to allot of other bags I looked at. I would definitely recommend this bag.
No slipping, no sliding December 10, 2007 N. Cullen (Riverside, CA United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This bag gets Five stars for the canvas outer shell. This is important for tent camping with kids. Almost all bags these days have a slippery nylon outer shell and the kids always slid right off their pads during the night. These bags solved that problem.
The bag gets 3 stars for the lamely executed "pack and roll" cover. This is a great concept that elimimates the need for straps or a storage bag by having a drawstring cover stitched onto the bag. The Coleman bag I had when I was a kid had the same thing and it worked great. This one is sized poorly.
However, the no slip shell more than makes up for the roll-up cover problem.
I should mention that the first shipment from Amazon had the packing slip for the two bags I ordered...but only had one bag in the shipment. I called Amazon and they had the second bag in my hands in 2 days. Great job! Who needs brick and mortar?
