Product Description HP9 is a perfect companion for your weekend hiking trips. It has a comfortable two color rubber handle with nylon strap and a small EVA grip for use when the stick is folded. The telescopic stick is made of 3 strong aluminum alloy sections and can be adjusted to a desired height between 55" and 27 1/2". It also has spring-loaded antishock mechanism inside which can be turned on/off with a twist between the two sections. Functional graphic on the stick includes a US/Metric Ruler. At the bottom end of the stick, there is a carbide tip hiden inside the rubber endcap. It is very helpful when walking on rocky hard surface. A snow disc is included for use on loose top soil or muddy road. Other convenient accessories include a liquid filled mini compass and a thermometer. Both could be weared on watch band if prefered. Stick length: Max. 55"; 27 1/2" folded. Color: Black

Great walking stick May 25, 2006 G. Johnston 29 out of 30 found this review helpful
I bought this walking stick on Amazon.com because I was going on vacation pretty soon and I needed a walking stick to help me when I was hiking on the mountains. All in all, this turned out to be an excellent walking stick. One of the nice features about it is that it folds up quite easily, thus allowing me to take it on an airplane. I also love its color and the fact that it has a compass and a thermometer on the handle strap.
All in all, a great purchase! :-)
Great product May 25, 2006 qwiktrans (San Francisco, CA USA) 16 out of 17 found this review helpful
It's very lightweight, strong, and the compass comes in handy. I would highly recommend.
No problem so far April 28, 2009 Lance Kozlowski (Guadalajara, Mexico) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I knew this was cheaper than other poles with higher ratings, but I see no problems with it. It performed perfectly on recent long hikes in Zion Park and area. Light and collapses easily for packing. Comfortable handle and shock absorption is just right. A true bargain and I may buy more.
Great hiking pole September 15, 2008 P. Poon (Boston, MA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love this hiking pole... light weight for the price I paid, no one can bet it. The other famous hiking pole costs 3 - 4 times as much but just 2 oz. lighter. I would take the weight for this price.
Getting Close to 50 and have a little Vertigo????? September 26, 2009 Mary Cassat (All Over, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The Hammers HP9 hiking poles are keeping me upright. Walking by
the beach in the sand, on the grass at the picnic, making snowballs to throw at all loved ones, these poles keep me on my two feet! My legs like to go in a different dirction than
my mind tells them. The poles are strong and stable for me.
Being a short, young lady, the adjustable which-a-ma-gig gets right to my perfect stride. They are even kind of sexy in their
"day-glow" color.
Try'em......You will have a life altering experience!!!!!!!
