Description from Backcountry:
The Mountain Hardwear Trango 4 is a socially and environmentally friendly way to camp with several people—this 4-person tent takes up less ground space than most any other 2-person tent combo. Multiple entries make moving four people in and out of the tent flow smoothly—there is a front and a rear door in the tent, and additional vestibule entries. Trango 4's two interior tension shelves, mesh pockets, web hanging loops, and dual gear loft compatibility ensure everyone has plenty of storage space. Mountain Hardwear ensures that this larger mountaineering tent is as stable and strong as smaller versions by using larger diameter (.490 in) poles. UVX windows let you assess outside weather conditions, while enjoying the interior comfort of the Trango 4. Combine the Trango 4 with a rectangular gear loft [MHW0067] and a footprint [MHW0057] to take advantage of every feature.

Reviews (2):

I research bighorn sheep and spend months in the high mountains with them. Every kind of weather you can imagine. We use the Trango 3.1 and found it ideal. I have been in storms that lay it flat - no kidding the poles are right down in our face as we laid there. I thought they would snap like twigs but they bounced right back into shape. Pretty intense. Never have I been wet. This tent has outlasted every other tent we put on the mountain and I still use it every year. I replace the fly because of UV damage but that is normal. For this season, I will go to the Trango 4 for the extra room for all our lab gear. My only caution with these tents is their weight but we have pack goats - so no problems.
