The Fusion 2 will be your best friend the next time you set up a winter base camp for a backcountry ski session or mountaineering ascent—it utilizes a Compression Tension Design, which is a pole structure that provides incredible strength for stormy, high-mountain conditions. Yet it's plenty breathable for use in warmer seasons as well; a large mesh roof and rear panels provide cooling airflow. An internally-accessible peak vent increases the cool factor considerably. A large vestibule holds plenty of gear, and two full-length Therm-a-Rests fit comfortably inside. Interior pockets provide plenty of stash spots, and should you want to camp without the door, simply zip it into MSR's unique StowAway door pocket.The Fusion 2 by MSR is a lightweight, 2-person tent with great ventilation for spring and summer use as well as the necessary warmth and strength for fall and winter weather. This is a two-person, go-anywhere, do-anything, lightweight convertible shelter that's strong enough for any mountain.
