| The North Face Equinox Sleeping Bag is a lightweight 35 degree
synthetic sleeping bag designed for backpacking in milder conditions and
relatively warm weather. Perfect for summer expeditions in rainy
climates (Polarguard stays warm even when wet), the Equinox weighs in at
just over 2 pounds—incredibly light for a synthetic bag. Overlapping
shingle construction eliminates cold spots by evenly distributing
insulation and stabilizing it over time. New Polarguard Delta offers all
the performance of Polarguard 3D, but with 10% better loft and 12% less
weight; constructed of an advanced super-void filament that is exclusive
to The North Face. A taffeta bottom shell defends against abrasion and
grit, prolonging the life of the bag, while the soft and breathable
Silken lining keeps you comfortable all night long. A new, larger alarm
pocket allows plenty of room to store today's large-sized altimeters as
well. Bottom Line: A necessity for backpacking in wetter climates, the Equinox offers minimal weight in a synthetic warm-weather sleeping bag.
Reviews : The sleeping bag was perfect for my trip. I did a 50 mile hike in 9 days on the Appalachian Trail, the bag kept me warm and dry and it was pretty cold and wet most nights, it was light, small and a great size for the trip. All in all this is great gear.
