The Petzl Micro is especially popular among campers. The Micro
features a powerful headlamp with a focusable beam and runs on two AA
batteries (not included - damn it). The Petzl Micro is perfect for tent
set-up and tasks around camp that require your hands to be kept free.
The best thing about this headlamp is the
price, but when you add in all the batteries you will buy, it ends up
being very expensive. Because of its design, the lamp can be
inadvertently switched on while inside your pack. Carrying the spare
batteries also adds weight.
