I used my backpack for the first time today, so perfect timing with the email. I recently upgraded to the Glacier and have been very pleased. Got up early and drove to Wisconsin. I am moving out West in February to work at a therapeutic wilderness camp, so I am taking pilates and hiking every weekend to get ready. Today I carried a light load because I just wanted to get a feel for the pack. I would say it was a great hike except that we were unaware it is hunting season (stupid Chicagoans) and I was wearing the "muted colors" my new job requested for all of my gear. We hiked the last 2 miles at a rapid pace, feeling like we were under fire because as we passed one hunter he started shooting at an area about 20 feet away. The pack worked great. We're looking for trails that aren't open to hunters for next weekend.
