| The Arc'teryx Bora 62 is a women's pack with enough space for
extended trips and a few days of backcountry bliss. The Bora 62
incorporates distinctive Arc'teryx developments with a female specific
V-stay suspension system that supports the unique characteristics of a
woman's anatomy. Arc'teryx's Bora 62 offers award winning suspension
with breakthrough technology and an ergonomic design. WaterTight zips
and urethane-impregnated fabric work overtime to significantly upgrade
the Bora's weather resistance and durability. Now the world standard,
the Bora hipbelt features four layers of foam, laminated and
thermoformed into a curved, cupped shape that pivots to allow forward
load transfer. Such well thought-out improvements ensure that the Bora
62 will travel comfortably over rugged and irregular terrain. Bottom Line: This women specific pack is ready for serious backcountry excursions.
Reviews (2): The size, the women's specific fit... I'll be the first to admit my obsessive, compulsive tendencies, and this backpack works with my type A personality and everything that I demand from my gear. I have used this pack countless times, and I don't know if I will ever get another pack (sorry sales people... you can't sway me from the Bora 62). This pack fits my not-so-hippy body better than other female packs. Although it’s a little heavy for its size, its durability makes up for the weight. I've used this pack through a harsh winter season and on longer, drier trips and it only sustained a few minor scratches. This includes shoving it in and out of the cargo spaces of many chicken buses while traveling through Mexico. The only thing I would really complain about is that it is not completely waterproof. Water seeped into the sleeping bag compartment during a downpour. Also, there aren't any small compartments to stash little things, so you'll need to be fairly organized. Don't take it the wrong way though. There is the sleeping-bag compartment, top fanny pack, front zip-down space and bladder sleeve.
