I've never owned a pack this nice. Design and workmanship are top notch. It packs down nice for the shorter trek while long day trips are definitely do-able as well (maybe even the light overnighter). I've heard that the short side pockets are a waste in this pack. I pack a Nalgene in each pocket with a carabiner to the daisey chain and found it to be no problem. "You get what you pay for" rings true with this pack.

I just got back from two days of ice climbing in and around Rocky Mountain National Park. The Bora 50 was rock solid and very comfortably carried probably 40lb of gear. Very stable when trekking to the ice falls and when climbing. Highly recommended!

The Bora 50 Backpack by Arcteryx is constructed with rain repellent urethaned fabric and storm sealing WaterTight zips. Thermoformed suspension makes light of heavy loads of gear.
